I am a well-travelled, mother, writer and high school English Teacher. I have lived on the island of St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Connecticut, Maryland and Washington DC, in the USA. I studied the trans-Atlantic slave trade in Liverpool,England and made pasta in Florence, Italy. I treked with the Masai on their indigenous lands in Kenya and pumped water from a well in Tanga, Tanzania. All of my experiences have taught me the importance of spending my time making memories. Hauling small children across the world, only to have to worry about feeding them in foreign countries, taught me to pack patience and healthy snacks! I have found a system that helps me to dedicate time to my children, home and career, without compromising my children's health! I use homeopathic "medicines", but our first line of defense is always what they put in their mouths (excluding coins, toys and paper).
