Math with Jennifer S.

I am an experienced elementary teacher and tutor, entrepreneur, speaker, author, and mother who helps her students gain confidence and understanding. I have worked with students all over the world and specialize in one-to-one tutoring. I have a passion for working with students of all levels to help boost their phonics skills, reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary. I also work with students who are maintaining their skills over the summer or working to get ahead. My teaching license is valid and I have specific training in phonics education and different curriculums and methods. I have extenseive knowledge of different diagnostic tools as well as the Science of Reading and other phoncis philosophies. My work has taken me to educational conferences where I have been a speaker to other teachers and parents around the country. I would love to meet your child and am looking forward to getting to know them. I have a passion for teaching and helping students to become the best that they can be. I earned two bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Music from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and a Mater's Degree in Elementary Mathelmatics from Western Governor's University in Salt Lake City, UT. I've worked in private schools, public schools, and as a homeschooling mom. I currently work with students from all over the United States and over 6 different countries. Communication is important and I will work with parents to give their children the best exerience possible.
