I'm Jasmine and I am 28 years old from Houston, Tx. In 2017, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language (emphasis in interpreting). I went on to claim my Masters in Communication and I am in the final phases of obtaining my doctorate in education EdD with emphasis in organizational leadership. I fell in love with sign language at a young age. I began taking classes at 6 years old and not long after that I was interpreting at my church which I still to do today. I have taught ASL privately and in group settings and had students of all ages. It brings me so much joy to see students thrive. They usually begin the course completely panicked and when they're done, they have fallen in love with Deaf culture, the language, and all the amazing components of ASL. In our ever-expanding society, being bilingual is such an incredible tool and I would love to help you reach that milestone with what I believe is the most exciting language- ASL. The best part is...ANYONE can learn! From babies to young adolescents, high school students, and adults, I promise, you will enjoy learning sign language. And without a doubt, I will enjoy teaching you!
