I am passionate about photography and traditional and digital art. I started taking pictures when I was 10 years old. I always loved everything about photography and design. I studied film and photography in college and then later Graphic Design.
I have over 10 years of experience working with the special needs population. I love to teach Art and Reading while helping students overcome learning difficulties. I focus on the strengths and talents in each student and build confidence and self esteem in my students. When a student is confident in his/her abilities it can make a world of a difference in performance and increase their enjoyment in learning. Currently, I offer online tutoring and in-person sessions in NY.

Mrs. Jacqueline is a wonderful teacher. She is enthusiastic, caring and accessible. She used different reading strategies to help my son to learn the sounds of the letters and decode words, as well as to learn sight words.
Mrs. Jacqueline has high expectations for my son and he made a lot of progress in his pre-reading skills. She motivated my son to learn and as a result he was engage and eager to learn how to read.
Mrs. Jacqueline develop a good relation with my son and with me. She was always willing to send me updates on how my son was doing and giving me tips on how to help him at home. I am very happy with Mrs. Jacqueline teaching skills, I am looking forward for her to continue teaching my son in the near future.

Ms. Jackie has inspired my 8 year old daughter to learn and practice photography. A discussion of camera features, function and visual ideas, would often be followed by a partnered shoot, and then a viewing and discussion of the photographs from the session. After each session, my daughter couldn't wait to take pictures again!
She also gave great feedback to me regarding my daughter's progress after each session.
