I have just graduated college with a degree in Physics Education. I plan to take the GACE in June to get certified to teach Physics and I hope to eventually add a certification in Mathematics. I love Math. In August, I started my student teaching in Cobb County Public schools and worked both in a high school and a middle school. My main experience with elementary-aged children comes from being a counselor and head counselor at my church kids' camp. I have also tutored in math and physics at the college level. My tutoring style is not one where I create a whole new curriculum for a student. I believe a tutor's job is to lend assistance and help students gain practice and understanding in a subject. In order for this to happen, students must be able to tell me what they have been studying in their class. In this way, tutoring is so beneficial, since I can personally address the needs of students.+ Read More
I was a student teacher in High School Physics and Middle School Physical Science classrooms. I was the primary instructor for a 6 week period in Honors Physics classes.
I worked as a Learning Assistant at my college, where I worked with the beginning level physics classes for an hour during their labs. We did a lot of physical activities and talked about physics. It was a ton of fun and I learned a lot about the conceptual side of physics.+ Read More
Wonderful instructor. Hannah helped me better understand college level physics, both in concept and practice. After working with her for a few sessions my understanding greatly improved as did my grades. She's excellent at breaking down the math equations and variables in a way that is easy and understandable. Couldn't recommend a better Physics tutor. :)+ Read More
