About Gina K.

Hi there! I'm Gina Kuehne, a Certified Mathematics teacher with over a decade of classroom experience! I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, and Algebra 1 for 12 years, and now I am substituting for all grades PK - 8. Not only have I mastered teaching Mathematics in a way that my students have gone from "I hate Math" to "Math is my best subject!", but my degree in Psychology has made me a fantastic MINDSET/Life coach, and I love helping students develop their growth mindset, overcome test anxiety, and learn how to manage their time to prepare them for success. Working with me will not only improve your math skills, but also give you the confidence and grit you need to make progress in all areas of your life. I am also a mother of two children, 6 and 11, who loves to read, be outside, and listen to 90s music! If you're looking to reach your Math goals while building yourself up and having fun in the process, let's work together!

Miss Gina is an excellent math teacher! She provided explanations that were concise and so easy for me and my son to understand. And her patience and eagerness to help were appreciated. I would definitely recommend Miss Gina for math tutoring!

Gina tutored my 8th grader in Per AP algebra. She worked very hard to make sure my child fully understood the material as the teacher was moving very quick. Gina made herself readily available to my child through text or email, to help with homework or a quick reminder. She helped me as a parent hold my child accountable for her grade in that class, if it wasn’t for Gina my daughter would of dropped the class. I am happy to say my daughter is finishing a high school class as an 8th grader and she will be prepared for algebra 2 her sophomore year.

Substitute

Since I left the classroom full time to be home with my children, I missed being with students on a regular basis. I found that substituting has given me the opportunity to continue the passion of being in the classroom, with the flexibility of being a stay at home mom.
