In addition to being a writer, I'm also a certified life coach and see writing as an opportunity for healing and self-discovery. We will explore self-expression through journaling, poetry, and the creative essay, in addition to any other formats you’re interested in. Creativity has no bounds, and I'm open to working with additional mediums (such as art, photography, film etc.) if you feel called to do so! Writing can be your dearest companion. It has helped me document and make sense of so many experiences, from world travels, to countless life changes and transitions. I am here to support you in this safe space as you explore your self-expression, learn more about yourself, work through grief and trauma, or simply—add more fun and creativity to your life through the joy of writing.

About Gabriela M.

I'm a writer and certified life coach with an interest in the intersection between self-development, healing, and self-expression through art. I received a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University in English with focuses on creative and non-fiction writing. It was there that I developed my craft through workshops, lectures, and the analysis of a wide range of literature (from renaissance works to modern creative non-fiction). I served as a reporter for the OWU transcript and an editor for The OWL, OWU's student-led literature journal. I taught creative and research writing to teens through Huckleberry Youth Programs in 2011, and went on to teach English as a Second Language to children and adults in El Salvador and later, Vietnam. Additionally, I co-created an online publication called Friendly Strangers SF, where I wrote articles and served as the editor-in-chief. Today, I do the copywriting for my coaching business and have a weekly publication called "Weekly Motivation" where I delve into self-development and spirituality tools though the lens of my personal experience.
