Whether you’re preparing for an audition or a role, or simply expanding your skills, I will work with you to develop a system you can apply to learning any accent or dialect. We will listen to recordings of native speakers, address your current vocal posture and how it relates to your own dialect, and we will work with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) until you can confidently apply it to learning most dialects and accents. I can also work with you on accent reduction, if necessary, using the same tools.
About Erin C.

I am an actor, speech & dialect coach, and acting teacher. I had steady freelance teaching and coaching jobs for 3 years in NYC, as well as steady acting work in NYC and Chicago theatre for 5 years total. I moved to LA from Cambridge, MA, where I earned my Master's in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard. I am certified in unarmed stage combat as well. I am still an active performer in improv, film and TV. I have coached privately and for theatre productions ranging from world-premieres to revivals of Pinter plays to musicals. I love working with actors of all experience levels!

She is great, just great. 1st course yet she immediately helped me understand what were the real issues and how to tackle them. Now I feel confident to pass in front of an audience, because I know I will be heard and I will be understood!
