My passion for the sciences, particularly biology and chemistry, has led me on a path of continued education, learning, and application. Most recently I was able to use my knowledge of science to teach in hospital operating rooms.

One of the most exciting components of science is that it is all around us! It's more than just definitions in the class room. We see science outdoors in observing, researching, and appreciating a new butterfly or plant species. We experience science in the lab using measurements to calculate the molecular weight of a sample. Science can even be applied to help develop new ways to fight disease.

I work together with students and parents to develop a customized learning plan to meet individual learning needs.
