We specialize in improv and non-scripted theatre training. Through fun improvisational exercises, students learn the foundations of the craft of acting: active listening, objectives, movement, and connection. Personalized training is designed for students of all ages.

I have been an Artistic Director and acting coach for 6 years following training in New York and Seattle. I have experience with film and television, specializing in non-scripted, improv type theatre. My drama therapy training, and work with youth on the autism spectrum has also equipped me to work with a broad range of students. I am also the founder and instructor for the popular Improv for REAL Life classes. I cannot think of a better way to build both your skills as an actor, and increase your confidence on stage, and in life.

Don is an amazing instructor.   He also is good at motivation.   I have learned a lot and look forward to keep learning more.

Had a great time in every session we had! I was never one to be up on stage in the spotlight, but Don's class helped me push through that! Awesome experience!

I have never done anything like this but I don't want to stop now.  I want to learn more and more.  Don is a good teacher and an awesome person as well.  The whole class had the best time ever.

Without any theatrical experience prior to Don's Improv For Real Life class, my expectations were uncertain. I hoped to have some laughs and fun basically. After taking this series, I cannot imagine a better class structure for both those with experience and the inexperienced. The benefits of a couple of hours/week for a 6 week stretch will remain with me for my lifetime- WAY more than some laughs and fun. Both the class and instructor touched me deeply as a person.

Don is a wonderful teacher/coach. I never thought I could perform in front of a group like I did. He works miracles with students.
