I work with Right On Learning, a tutoring company that works in Lakewood, CO. I would enter math and science classrooms and act as a tutor for students in those classes. I would guide students to finding answers and towards deep thinking about what is really happening.

Math is one of my most passionate subjects to teach, regardless of what the specific subject matter. Math is a way to understand and make more of the world around you, and sharing this with students helps them grow to be more thoughtful, productive people. What I've noticed about Math that scares people is a lack of consistency. I always build on a consistent foundation to ensure what is learned is kept with you always.

Seeing someone's face light up when they learn something new or realize how much they can do is what I live for! I graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. While I was there I was frequently asked for help from fellow students, and I would nearly always oblige. I continued this into my Teacher's Assistant position, holding office hours for students to get help at. After graduation I worked for Right On Learning as a Math tutor. I would enter classrooms for JR/SR High school students and engage them. I will always find a way to explain something in a way the student will understand.
