    Experienced study skills, ELA, reading, and history teacher of 36 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my ELA reading and study skills instruction using nonfiction articles and texts leveled to align with each student's reading comprehension level. I also provide a Cornell Notes template and other notetaking templates, a variety of graphic organizers, and writing prompts with rubrics for persuasive writing, expository writing, and narrative writing. In my study skills class, my instruction focuses on Executive Function skills which include time management, materials management, notetaking, test preparation, and more.
