-Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer.
-Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material from analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically.
-Acting Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I?
The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type are what I focus on in these lessons.

I am an AEA/SAG-Eligible actor with a BFA in Acting from Montclair State University and an MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University.
Originally from NYC, I was signed with one of the major Boutique Agencies in the New York area and have auditioned/been called back / or cast for a number of Primetime TV Shows / Feature Films / Equity Theaters. I am also the Co-Founder of a Non-Profit theater in the NYC area called Normal Ave. Productions.
I have taught acting classes at the collegiate level/high school level/and worked extensively, teaching drama to children on the autism spectrum. My students have gotten into BFA Acting programs, The Actors Theater of Louisville, and professional theaters.
The pedagogies that most influence my style of teaching are:
Earle Gister Technique
Peter Levine and Somatic Experiencing
Work one on one with kids on the spectrum while using aspects of drama to foster growth in social skills, communicative skills, and self regulation.
First Stage is an Equity theater (with a Summer Theater Academy) in Milwaukee, WI; it is also one of the biggest TYA's in the country.
Teach college students basics of Acting through Meisner/Stanislavski/Earle Gister based exercises.
Recruit High School students to the BFA Acting program, award talent based scholarships, and teach workshops based on the Meisner Technique and Del Close's Truth in Comedy.
A therapy camp focused on helping children on the spectrum with their social skills. In the theater portion I used dramatic tools to help introduce new framing that better served the student in social contexts.

Daniil has been more than just an acting "instructor". He is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to both acting technique, business side of acting, and huge motivational supporter. He is always up to date and resourceful with knowledge about auditions, shows, names of people that you should you know about or get to know. If he believes in you then you're a lucky pupil, because above all his knowledge and talent is his dedication; not only to his craft but to yours.+ Read More
Daniil's professional experience in NYC makes him an invaluable resource, especially with all the stuff you don't learn in school. Daniil sat down with me and walked me through all the websites to check, he's given me advice on cover letters and responding to inquiries, and he goes out of his way to share audition notices and other opportunities he thinks might help me. Plus, he's talked me through issues with insight, kindness, logic and wisdom. I am lucky to know him.+ Read More
Dan was respectful while consistently pushing us to challenge ourselves and find more in each moment. He was very open to ideas and was a team player. Overall, i’d Definitely recommend him to anyone.
I really enjoyed the acting class I took with Daniil. He's a pretty laid back guy, but he can find what you need to work on to help you improve the most and then give you tools to work on it.
Dan helped me work on Meisner repetition and draw from direct emotional experience. This helped me make myself more vulnerable and move past my tics and defense mechanisms, allowing me to be more truthful and emotionally available onstage. He also helped me find monologues that fit my type and gave me great resources for marketing myself. In the words of the master himself, you gotta want it! And if you do, Dan is a great resource and mentor for all things acting.+ Read More
Really in depth and is really good at showing people what they need to work on. He’s really easy to work with but also professional. Only note would be perhaps a tad more organization.
Dan is a very in depth acting instructor he really works with you on becoming who your supposed portray down to the actions and gestures that your character. When Dan is instructing you his number one goal is to make sure you leave that session a better actor than you were when you walked in and over time make you a better actor all around.+ Read More
Daniil is a strong listener which makes him an excellent teacher. He really has a gift for intently watching and understanding actors and then giving them knowledge and instruction based on their time with him. I felt like he knew who I was on a deep level after the first lesson which made me just want to keep taking. He is a solid teacher amongst many average ones.+ Read More
