About Claudia L.
I'm a passionate science teacher who has taught ages Pre-K through 12 all levels and branches of science. I strongly believes in a hands on approach to learning science with a focus on showing how science is useful and important for all to learn as well as finding ways to make the complicated subjects more user friendly and understandable.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin Madison and a Masters in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. I've worked in both public and private schools as well as a professional tutor building a passion for science with all I work with. While my focus is in the life sciences, I have taught chemistry, physics, and general sciences too. During the summer I work with summer camps to create intensive (and fun!) curricula on Lego Robots, Forensic Science, the Science behind the Kitchen, and Rube Goldberg Machines just to name a few.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you excel in science!
