Claire is a professional actor and director who trained at Juilliard and Brown University. She has taught students at the Juilliard School where she also directs studio projects and the final fourth year showcases; Syracuse's Tepper Center in NY; MudBone in the Bronx; Juilliard's arts camp in Kissimmee, FL and masterclass workshops at the Old Globe and the Chautauqua Institution. As a private coach, Claire regularly works with actors on material for theater, musical theater, television, film, cabaret and graduate schools auditions. Claire Karpen (AEA/SAG-AFTRA) is an actor, director and teacher based in NYC who has worked both On/Off Broadway, regionally and internationally.
