Hello, thank you for stopping by my page! I am a current bilingual (Spanish) elementary school classroom teacher with a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Bilingual Authorization. I offer tutoring to K-12 students in multiple subjects including: English and Spanish language arts, mathematics, sciences (I am a former chemist and hold a BS in environmental science, and have written science curriculum), and English Language Development. I have worked with students of all ages in educational settings since 2009 and have served as a public school teacher in an urban district since 2020. I also have offered online dance coaching since 2019. My virtual teaching experience ranges from working with pre-professional ballet students on technique and conditioning goals, providing competitive dancers with supplementary coaching and feedback sessions, and guiding early childhood learners through developmentally appropriate experiential movement games. In addition, I specialize in working with adult beginners, setting classical and contemporary choreography, developing curriculum, and am experienced at tailoring classes for learners with special needs. I am an ABT Certified Teacher and Luna Summer Institute alumn with a masters degree in dance education from NYU who has been working movers of all walks in diverse settings since 2013.
