Learning Sessions for the Nursing Students Sem I-V and Graduates Preparing for the Next-Gen NCLEX!

Nursing School is hard! There's no doubt about it, and with the COVID-19 Pandemic, the experiences for hands-on learning have been minimized for so many students. Grasping certain concepts may be hard for the average student including those who are workers, parents, and caregivers working long hours and servicing others on top of attending nursing school. But have no fear your Nurse Educator Advocate is here!!! Sessions are personalized to meet the needs of each Nursing Student/Graduate Nurse (NCLEX Prep). Need help understanding concepts? In the sessions, information will be broken down to a level that is relatable to the student. It is my belief that we need to first understand the basics before we can understand the big picture. For example: Did you that Diabetes starts with the pancreas? Our pancreas has the mighty job of producing a hormone called insulin. When we ingest foods that contain sugar it is the pancreas' job to secrete insulin. When insulin is secreted it takes the sugar from the food we ingested and allows the sugar to enter our cells to be used for energy! But what happens when the pancreas is in danger or can not produce the insulin we need? The sugar in our blood has nowhere to go and just roams around in our bodies causing havoc. This is why diabetic individuals test for high blood sugar. Sign up for your first session to learn concepts like this and more! Nursing School/NCLEX Prep

A professional, independent Registered Nurse whose passion is being a Nurse Educator Advocate to all current and future nurses! My philosophy in teaching is "Make It Make Sense!". It is important to me that nurses understand why they do what they do. Understanding the "why" better helps the nurse to become highly skilled and competent. When you look good you feel good, and that will further help create great patient outcomes. I am in the field of cultivating amazing awesome confident Registered Nurses! Obtaining my Master's Degree in Nursing Education has allowed me to hone in on my facilitation skills and to better help me identify what teaching means to me. I am NOT the average instructor. My sessions are filled with active learning and one-on-one communication/feedback between the instructor and the student. Whatever the need, concept, or test-taking skill, I am here to help! Areas of Nursing Experience Include Bedside nursing, In-patient/Out-patient Care, Community Health, School Nursing, Education, BLS Instructor, Research/ Participating in Clinical Trials, Home Health, and Infusion Therapy.
