My passion is helping others write. I was fortunate enough to serve as a writing center tutor at Emory University -- often voted the #1 college for writers -- for three years and helped over 100+ students supercharge their writing skills in just 50 minute sessions. Word got around campus that I was an editing wizard and I soon thereafter started a company assisting students with writing their college applications. My record includes landing students at universities such as Wake Forest, UNC Chapel Hill, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia University, Oberlin College and other elite schools.

I can help you or your older child with all types of advanced writing -- from standard essays to college applications to research papers. The way I like to structure lessons is to start by understanding your needs. I'm happy to focus on the big-picture, analyzing your paper's argument, use of evidence and structure while talking through any grammatical issues as they arise or vice versa.
