I am a currently practicing Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (and French) and a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology. I have taken psychology courses in everything from social psychology to parenting psychology.
I have not officially taught these subjects, but was a supplemental instructor in a general psychology classroom for three years in college and an assistant to a graduate professor. Part of my responsibilities as a supplemental instructor was to hold small group study sessions and provide one on one support to students who were struggling.
Additionally, I worked in the writing center in my graduate school helping other students with professional papers, resumes/CVs, essays, and research papers with grammar, writing style, and APA style.
As part of obtaining my bachelor's degree in French, I lived in Paris, France for 5 months as a study abroad student and also did extensive individual study in the language in order to obtain my degree. I feel most comfortable helping beginning French students who hope to practice their language skills and learn basic vocabulary and sentence structure.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for psychology and/or the French language!
