During my time as a Certified K-6 Teacher in Public Schools, I discovered that I have a true calling in the areas of intervention and tutoring. I am able to find the root of the student's difficulty, and by using various remediation techniques, I can help the child find their way to mastering the troubled math concept. I am also a mother to 3 children ages 10 through 14. Whenever any subject matter deficiency arises, I am the parent that is always able to help them while still keeping my patience and calm. I am a strong believer that all children can be taught, but for them to learn and retain the information, it must be presented in an individualized manner.
