    I have been dancing for 9 years. I was on the Milligan College Dance Team for four years where we did mostly Pom (cheer/dance). I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am currently in graduate school for School Counseling. I have a few years teaching in various settings; tutoring for math in high school, Sunday school lessons, and substitute teaching. I strongly believe in the arts and helping all children get an equal opportunity in education.

    Alicen Simon is amazing! She is a talented dancer and instructor but maybe even more important - she's wonderful with children! She is kind, warm and encouraging! 5 stars!!

    She really helped me understand the many different ways to look at various equations and how to solve them. She was extremely patient with me as I am a slow learner and takes some time to pick up new techniques. She went out of her way to make sure I understood how to solve the problems. I highly recommend her to any level of student.
