As of now, I have been a competitive baton twirler for 17 years. I held a feature twirler position at the University of Texas at San Antonio and am now a current feature twirler for the University of Houston. I compete at the advanced level. I have received my B.S. in mathematics with a certification in teaching and am pursuing my M.S. in mathematics. I have experience working with ESL students and well as students with disabilities. I believe every student is different and therefore should be taught differently in a way that suits their needs.
