Hello, I am a certified teacher from Texas. I have taught oved 20 years 1-8th grade. I specialize in Math up to pre-algebra, Algebra, but I can teach it all. I am a very hands on type of teacher. At first, I would conduct lessons using manipulatives so students can visualize the problem, then once there is understanding move to the abstract way of math. I will fill learning gaps when needed in order for students to comprehend the concept and continuing to build on it. I am a big believer of communication and have a great rapport with students and families. Success is my main goal! Together, I know we can accomplish and achieve your objective . Hello, I am a certified teacher from Texas. I have taught over 20 years from 1- 8th grade and tutored math up to 10th grade. I graduated from Texas Tech University many years ago. My passion in teaching that I have realized throughout the years, is MATH. I love it. I start by teaching it using manipulatives in a very concrete way to build understaning then build on it. Another passion of mine is traveling and learning about different places and cultures. I have traveled and lived in 3 different states in the last 25 years, Louisiana, Texas, Minnesota which has made me a much broader person. Education is the key to success.
