Where to start. Alex is a just a great all around person. He makes learning fun. As long as you put in the time and effort he will guide you through to where you need to be. Never a dull moment, as his lessons bring out the best in you. I would highly recommend going to him, as his style is very different than other tutors or professors. He encourages you to engage in what you are studying; to be proactive and animated, which ultimately leads to results, while having fun in the process. His style is the way learning in general should be. His techniques will train you to remain calm in the face of adversity. You will not regret going to Alex. Again, as long as you put in the time, he will help you get the results you want.

Alex is a very good teacher. He managed to make things simple and was fun. He was even understanding when the Takelessons website made things difficult.

While seeking guidance on excel and troubleshooting issues, Alex was able to provide a clear explanation on the theory of formulas and how they are conditioned for specialized reporting. Not only will I continue to seek Alex's expertise in the future, but I highly recommend him to anyone who needs any guidance with Excel.

Great teacher! Alex stepped in to help my teenage son at the last minute, worked well with him, and helped him get through road blocks he was encountering. I wish I'd found Alex early in the semester! I will definitely ask for his help again and would highly recommend him to others.

Alex is a great instructor. He helped me understand certain areas of php that I really needed help in. He did so, in an easy to understand way and I now know and understand the material.

Alex was friendly and well organized. To make sure I got what he showed me, I too needed to do a couple exercises. That was good. For a first lesson, with my prior knowledge uncertain, the session went pretty well. Also liked his ability to 'tailor' the excel functions to things of my concern.

Professor Alex is plainly the best instructor I have ever encountered. Alex does not read the textbook aloud to students in a monotone and boring way. He plucks out the most important material and starts an engaging discussion/debate regardless of the topic. He can make anything seem interesting and easy to understand. What makes Alex different than most teachers is his commitment to his students. If you want to learn, he will go out of his way to teach you. If you don't understand something, he will slow it down for you and spend the necessary effort in order for you to understand. You can actually tell that he cares about what you think as well as your success in life. No other teacher has remotely been as helpful as he has.

Professor Alex is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful instructors that I have ever had. Regardless of the subject matter, Alex presents the subject matter to students in a way that is much easier to understand as compared to the generic cookie cutter or "straight from the textbook" explanation. In doing this, learning from Alex is not the typical memorization of information but rather the actual understanding of concepts and how they can be applied to a variety of situations.

Professor Alex is a wonderful teacher. He knows what he is teaching and makes sure that his students learn as much as they can. He can go to any length to explain the most complex problems in the simplest possible way. He also teaches me programming. I highly recommend him.
