Looking for a patient and creative Ivy League grad with experience? I've tutored test-prep, writing, study skills, and the humanities since 2001. As a Head Writing Fellow at Brown, I helped hundreds of students across a range of disciplines improve their grasp of grammar, argument, and overall essay coherence. As literature and writing instructor at Syracuse University, I worked with sixty students each semester--helping them learn how to plan, write, and edit papers at the college level. I'm also something of a standardized test whiz, and have years of experience teaching the most popular test formats (particularly the SAT, ACT, and GRE). I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT Verbal, a perfect score on the GRE Verbal, and a 720 on both in Quant. My overall score for the ACT was 32. Most importantly, I have a compassionate and sensitive teaching style, and am enthusiastic about helping people realize their potential. Have questions? Drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you.

Adam did an awesome job to make studying for the LSAT easy and enjoyable. I have a hard time keeping myself motivated and sometimes felt overwhelmed with the LSAT. But he has such clear explanations and great tips (that I didn't find in my review books) that I am way more confident and made huge jumps on my practice tests. And he is funny.

Adam's patient guidance, his careful explanation of logic games and LR (my weakest subjects), and his focus on attaining measurable results, helped boost my LSAT scores. I felt confident and thoroughly prepared due to his supportive and encouraging teaching style. For me, this was a small investment, with a big payoff in performance. I strongly recommend this tutor.
