Picture this....you get home after a long day of work or school, you feel a little stressed out by the world, wishing you had more time to get the endless list of things done and more energy to do them.....
Instead of turning on Netflix and zoning out, you pick up your guitar and play your favorite song.
Feels pretty great right?!
Learning to play an instrument is one of life's most rewarding endeavors, that just keeps getting better the longer you pursue it.
With playing an instrument, you will have something you love to do and look forward to doing every single day, enriching your life and those around you.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.
For two years I've been taking lessons with Ahmad every week and have found a lifelong hobby. Ahmad has been patient and understanding to my level of ability and has guided me to not only improve dramatically my level of playing, but also has taught me the basic fundamentals of music which makes me appreciate listening to and playing music more than I ever had. Ahmad is a gifted teacher who can quickly uncover and fix fundamental problems with technique and builds lesson plans to teach one how to play the guitar as a musical instrument.
I am so happy I found Ahmad. He has given me a lifelong passion to improve my playing and a deeper understanding of the music I've loved my entire life. If you've ever thought about learning the guitar, do yourself a favor and see Ahmad now."

I am writing a review from a couple of different perspectives, as I've received lessons from Ryan in a number of capacities. I am an intermediate-level bass player who received his initial music theory training from Ryan, and his explanations were clear and concise.
Recently, I've become a geography professor at the University of Akron, and I teach a variety of topics, including Introductory Cultural Geography. Part of this involves looking at how different types of music spread throughout the world. Ryan created an excellent video that supplemented my lecture; he thoroughly, yet very clearly, described how the spread of the minor pentatonic scale contributed to the development of heavy rock and metal music across the globe. Without this insight, my lecture would have been less accurate, as well as less entertaining to the students!
As a stringed-instrument player and a professor who includes music geography and history in his classes, I highly recommend lessons with Ryan. His descriptions and instructional method are outstanding (please see his excellent video series, "Swing's Shred Tips" on YouTube), and he also clearly demonstrates a deeper knowledge about music. Rather than just playing fast to shred, he will teach the underlying ideas behind the music to improve your playing (as he clearly demonstrated in his custom lecture on geography/history in my class). Highest possible recommendation!"
awesome instructor with over two decades of experience you can trust his teachings.
2 months went by really quick and I'm learning so much from tuning, strumming, bends, slides, taps harmonics and there's still so much more to learn. Ahmad is here for the long run if you want to shred like him. Take a chance and have fun learning guitar with Ahmad."

Thank you so much for everything Melaena!"

Neil is patient yet, he pushes us to achieve the next level. This is by far... a great investment for our lives.
