Mat’s goal is to create lesson plans to fit each student’s unique learning style. Whether the student prefers the structure of studying through a book or wants coaching as they explore their own path, Mat will help them develop a strong understanding of the fundamentals of guitar to help them play the music they dream about playing.

Mat has been teaching guitar for 17 years, and has been performing guitar, bass, and drums with rock bands for 19 years. He studied music and guitar performance through years of private lessons, and has a Music Theory Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music. Mat teaches everything from pop and country to classic rock and heavy metal. His goal is to provide a positive and encouraging environment to help his students reach their musical goals, build confidence, and develop creativity.

Because of Mats teaching skill i am able to progress from novice to advanced level that i have acquired lifelong  interest enjoying my music.He is very helpful in tricky chord change.he is very sincere and has positive approach in teaching.He deserves the best rating.

Mathew is very knowledgeable, fun, and engaging.  He is also really patient.  Our daughter has made huge improvements since staring her lessons.   Mathew is an excellent teacher.  I highly recommend Mathew!
