I specialize in teaching beginning piano, and the vast majority of my students are beginners. All of my piano students use the Alfred Premier Series, which has adapted versions for very young learners, older beginners, and adult learners. Students will have music theory and history incorporated into every lesson, and will usually have a homework assignment incorporating these as well. Once a student has mastered the basics, I will introduce classic literature appropriate to his or her level. I encourage all of my piano students to participate in OMEA Solo and Ensemble contest when they reach the appropriate age and skill level.

The pandemic has obviously thrown a big wrench into the giving of guitar lessons. Before, Dennis was teaching me at his house. We now meet online using the Takelessons platform. Online lessons took some getting used to and are clearly not optimal, but I think Dennis has become more and more adept at making it work as well as possible.
I heartily recommend Dennis as a guitar teacher."

Eric is an awesome teacher with a ton of knowledge and lots of patients. He's super flexible when it comes to scheduling, and is always well prepared for the day's lesson. His ability to explain and break down complex material into layman's terms has been crucial to my understanding of music theory. We cover mostly rock, blues, & metal (in my favor), and I can honestly say his lessons has amplified my progression in speed, technicality, & overall confidence in playing. He'll always exceed the alloted time to ensure you leave with full understanding of the day's lesson, but never ask for anything extra for it. Besides being an amazing guitar player and an incredible composer, Eric is a genuine guy who really enjoys seeing his students progress. I highly recommend!"

Feats of vocal agility can be breathtaking – listening to singers who can pull off the most extraordinary vocal acrobatics in any genre is thrilling, and the likes of Joyce DiDonato and Cecilia Bartoli fill concert halls and opera houses all over the world with their technical fireworks.
