I've been teaching French for six years and my students have gone on to improve their grade substantially. Within the first few lessons, you'll get a better understanding of the material learned in class or if you are a new beginner, you will be able to read and speak basic French. I use different grammar and reading books depending on your level and make you practice with speaking and written exercises to vary the learning process. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I would be thrilled to meet you!

I am an experienced language teacher and have been teaching professionally for more then 25 years. I teach all levels of French and Russian and during my career I have taught students of different ages and various nationalities.

Parlez-vous français? French was the first foreign language I learned, and it was definitely a gateway language. I loved learning every detail of the grammar, every rule, every inevitable exception. I took advanced courses at UCI as well as studied in a French university for a semester, so I have lots of materials for us to work with.

As a PhD candidate at the University of Florida studying Linguistics, I have studied all the best ways to learn a language and would love to share my passion with you!

I promote student agency and will help you to make your own choices about your own learning; this way each lesson fits your individual needs and differences.
