Hi there, I'd like you to know a little bit more about me. I was born upstate NY, my parents are both from Brazil and decided to move back when I was five years old. I lived in the city of Belo Horizonte until I graduate High School and decided to move back to the US to continue my studies. I then fell in love with Spanish and not only decided to study it but to make it my career. I got certified in Translation/Interpretation from Spanish to English and vice versa. I am now double-majoring on Spanish/ Latin American Studies at UNCC and hope one day working at the US State Department. I truly think that being a bilingual nowadays is not just a plus but a must. Therefore, I shall pass on my passion for languages and help others lean them with love and joy other than just a necessity.

Kids are the best students ever!!! As a teacher I want them enjoy learning a new language. No bored classes. I make them paint, sing, play games, lots of activities but in Spanish, so they love classes and, of course, they are learning a new language all the time.
I like to do more than one diferent activity each class, I mix painting with games, songs and videos as tools to teach, that makes classes funny.
In my experience as a teacher I've learned that children need to undestand the importance to learn a new language, how important is that for their future, but they have to enjoy the learning process because they already have lots of responsabilities from, that's why my method consist in use all the tools I have to make me sure they really have fun while they are learning Spanish.
I'm gonna make them work hard, but they are gonna love it.
