Curriculum examples that I would utilize for piano would be Adventures in Piano and Succeeding at the Piano. For the vocal students I utilize Exceptional Musicianship, created by Hal Leonard for accurate vocal techniques.
Within 3 months the students will have opportunities to demonstrate their musical abilities. I will provide opportunities for students to demonstrate musical expertise through recitals and other events.

*** Studio Equipment ***

We have had a great experience with Andrew teaching our daughter piano. He works great with kids and has a wide range of teachable skills. He organizes fun events for his students that showcase their hard work. I am really pleased with our decision to enroll our daughter in his program, she has a lot of fun and has learned a lot in a short amount of time.

I can't choose a subject because Andrew teaches so many different things in his piano lessons that I would be doing him a disservice if I chose just one.

As a former piano lessons taker myself, I must admit that I had some lofty expectations for my daughter's piano lessons. On the first day of lessons for her, I knew that we were in great hands. Andrew has exceeded my expectations with every turn. And a fun and lighthearted way, and through games, activities, and fingers on the piano , Andrew helps the young learner learn the most important thing about music: it's fun! Theory is fun, composition is fun, ear training is fun, performance is fun. As a musician myself, I'd almost forgot. Andrew has helped me to remember, and is instilling these values in my daughter.

Thank you Andrew for being so awesome.

And, you will be able to sing for longer periods of time without getting tired or injuring your voice. *** Specialties ***
I specialize in finding the student's unique voice, and helping them to understand its natural operation in order to set it free to be used in any style they choose to sing. The Italian Bel Canto method describes the basic singing technique, and is the foundation from which a healthy and versatile voice can be developed. My upcoming book, "All God's Chillun' Got A Voice" How To Find It, and Release It As A Creative Tool”, discusses both the technical and esoteric sides of the singing voice, its operation and purposes.

I am a professional speaker and I decided to pursue some speaker voice coaching. This was my first lesson and Vanessa was friendly and great personality. I felt comfortable with her
immediately. She provided education, demonstration, observed me apply the techniques, and offered constructive feedback. After the class, I was excited to practice what I learned. I will definitely continue to go back to Vanessa. I highly recommend her.

Vanessa is wonderful. I was able to learn so much it a short period of time. She is an excellent teacher. When work slows down, I am going to take additional classes with Vanessa. She is definitely a 5 star person. I wish that I got to hear hear sing one of her favorite songs. My lessons focused on speaking voice.

About Melanie

I have been singing my entire life and started voice lessons at the age of 6, so I don't think it's ever too early to get started!

In addition to the many plays and showchoir programs I was involved in growing up, I have a BA in Theater/ Television from Pepperdine University, where I did numerous musicals and performances, as well as coached several productions.

Since being in LA, I have studied with some of the most prominent vocal coaches here, whose clients include Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and more.

As a performer and artist myself, I felt that I had more than just the technique to teach, I have the experience. Anyone can be an amazing singer, but it's that extra "it factor" that will get a singer noticed. In my 5000+ hours of stage experience, I knew this was something I wanted to focus my efforts

on with my students, in addition to making you feel your absolute best about your instrument.

By the second lesson, in addition to exercises to help strengthen your voice, I will begin coaching you with the songs you're working on! Depending on your level of experience and purpose for the song (i.e: audition / performance) I will also coach you on stage presence and performance.

I have seen a vast improvement in my voice since working with Melanie, more than any other coach I've had in the past. She will make you a better singer.

About Marco

I'm a singer-songwriter, voice teacher and Berklee College of Music alumni.
I started my career in Italy, winning national competitions like the Tour Music Fest, and participating to the first edition of the talent show “The X-Factor”. I graduated at the University of Pisa in “Music, Cinema and Theatre” and I also have a diploma in “Modern singing” at the Lizard Academy of Florence, and one in “Performance” at the CET (Centro Europeo di Toscolano), one of the most prestigious music schools in Italy.

I worked as a voice teacher in music academies and high schools both in Italy and in the Boston area (Cambridge arts Academy, The Conservatory at Highlands, Plugged In Band Program, Musician's Playground). My original music project is called Perfect Mark, my first album is titled “Flesh & Voice”, for which I wrote, arranged and produced all

the tracks.

Learning to sing means learning about yourself and your own voice, which is a unique instrument. There are so many different techniques out there, and my job is to use exercises to guide you through the discovery of your own personal sound: Understanding your breath support, different registers, expanding your range, use of dynamics, improvisation, understanding vocal styles of different genres, etc.

If you are a singer songwriter, I love working on original music, as well as coaching during studio sessions.

First of all, Marco is a tremendous singer and musical artist, as evidenced by his amazing vocals and songwriting in his original music. He has years of experience singing and performing professionally, and it shows.

Even more importantly, Marco is a spectacular teacher. He is a student of the voice and knows more about the anatomy of singing than anyone I've ever met. He can describe where you should place your sound, pinpoint how your body is affecting your voice, and immediately show you several exercises that target your specific challenge spots.

Marco has also helped me improve so much as a performer and musician; he has challenged me to sing songs that are slightly out of my comfort zone and given me countless tips on how to pay homage to an artist when covering them while still making the song my own. Finally, he has also helped me develop my own musical style as a cover artist and original artist.

"I have been working with Randy for a few months and just after the first hour I knew he was the teacher for me. He really gets to know you and what kind o
f music interest you. I've also noticed he has many different teaching strategies to go to your own pace, and really makes learning fun!! Even the basics! He really does create a personal level of learning and is extremely patient which has always been a problem with me and my teachers because I like to spend a little extra time just to make sure I fully understand. Working with Randy the past few months I can honestly say I am surprised how much I have learned and this is coming from a guy other teachers told me I couldn't sing, and now I'm working on creating my own unique voice! Randy creates a fun positive learning environment and for me unlocked doors in music I never thought I could achieve. I look forward to every lesson I have with him, he is helping me turn the gears of making a dream into a reality."
