Ms Teresa is awesome! She has taught my daughter how to play both Piano and guitar. I love that she actually teaches the music and explains things not just how to play the song!

I started trying to teach myself piano until I met Ms. Arth. On the very FIRST lesson she pointed out some bad habits and quickly resolved them. This allowed me to reevaluate my technique and iron out the basics. I plan on continuing my studies with Ms.Arth and I highly recommend her for any student beginner or advanced. Totally 💯 satisfied!!!!

My name is JoAnne Hart, and I have a Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy. Lessons with me are unique because I use a wholistic approach to singing, meaning I consider all aspects of my student's life when working through technique issues. I also have extensively studied the effect fitness has on singing, and I incorporate that into lessons to further the understanding that the body is a singer's instrument. I am passionate about vocal health, and I love helping my students find more freedom and joy in singing!

I like teaching interactively. I guide students to think not just about how, but also about why. Students benefit the most from self-teaching, after all, the teacher is not with the student 100% of the time.

About Jay

I’m a doctoral violinist currently studying at James Madison University. I love teaching and have a lot of teaching experience. I also perform a lot as an ensemble player. I’ve served leadership positions at various symphony/opera/musical orchestras.

"Ms.Jennifer is the most fantastical teacher ever, but really, she is. My sister and I (Grace) have been taking lesson for 6 years now and we've really enjoyed her the whole time. She works around our crazy (and I mean CRAZY) schedule, multiple times. Taking piano lessons from her has been a really fun experience and I'll keep doing it as l can. Now I'm in 6th grade and can read treble and bass clef and can play much more than I thought I would be able to when I first started.
Now to outdo Grace, Ms. Jennifer is sooo cool and the bestest (not a real word)teacher in the whole universe and has like superwoman powers on the piano. I totes(once again not a real word, that's just how good she is) recommend her."

Violin Tips: Stiff Shoulders and Arm Pain

Playing the violin should be fun - not a pain! Some arm fatigue is normal when you're first starting out, but anything more than that may be a sign of poor posture, technique or instrument placement. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you practice and play... 1. Relax. Many beginner players tense up their shoulders, arms or wrist without even realizing it, which can cause a lot of problems. Just relax! Focus on your breathing, but also don't lose your posture. 2. Check your techni …
