About Nikita

Hello!
My name is Nikita and I am a violin, viola and guitar instructor with 13 years of teaching experience. I work with international students of all ages at every skill level. So I am fully commit
ted to the entire range of musical education.
Have you been contemplating professional music lessons? You have found the right teacher! I acquired a Master’s Degree in the St. Petersburg State Music Conservatory of Russia. For over 20 years of my musical study and career I was not only teaching, but successfully performing in numerous concerts and recitals as a solo/chamber ensemble/symphony orchestra performer. I am also a recipient of various awards for republic and international competitions, amongst which are the V International Competition, Ukraine, and XXXIII Republic Competition, Kazakhstan.
Do you think the lessons also should be interesting and fun? You’re right! For the best results you need to enjoy the entire process. That is why my lessons are always easy to understand, interesting and fun.
I would love the opportunity to assist in your growth and development in the musical arts and remember… you’re never too young or too old to start!!!

He is a great teacher! He balances technique with expression in his teaching, from learning scales to performing pieces. He made it challenging, but fun. He taught me and all my siblings as well and they have all grown to appreciate music and gained skills that they use in other areas of music and learning.

Having worked with Nikita and knowing him personally, I hold him in very high regards. Not only Nikita is an outstanding performer and musician, but he also is a very strong teacher, who holds high level of professionalism. Nikita finds individual approach to each one of his students, helps them find passion for music within themselves and express it in their performance, all of which are key pedagogical qualities. Having music as an essence of his life, Nikita naturally sparks love for music in other people. Nikita gave me many helpful tips on how to become a better performer, as well as how to have the confidence to be one. But above all, Nikita has a very bright personality, a very lighthearted sense of humor and a natural ability drive people towards him. Nikita is a very inspiring young man.

Christopher C.

Mount Joy, PA

About Christopher

Hello! I am a Juilliard trained Opera Singer/Vocal Coach. I have been teaching voice since 1999. I have an undergraduate, Masters and Ph.D in Music and have performed at some of the leading opera hous
es in the world. I am trained to teach Opera, Broadway, Musical Theater and Popular vocal styles! It all starts with good vocal technique that can be transferred to all vocal genres.
When I approach a teaching situation, the first things I always ask myself are how I can draw the students in, how I can make them excited about learning what I am teaching, and how I can stimulate their intellectual and musical interests, thereby inspiring them to seek out further opportunities for music learning and experience beyond the particular context of the course or lesson.
