Cello Lessons in Lake Charles. Amazing Teachers.

Experienced Cello teacher available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music knowledge. I specialize Suzuki Method and Traditional Method depending on the students needs. I push to evolve with each student and create a fun a positive environment in which to learn and I strive to help you meet your goals! I plan and offer yearly professional student shows and concerts to give each student a practical application to their studies.

In my lessons, my primary focus is helping students learn cello at their own pace, and developing their love and appreciation for music! Cello can be challenging, but anyone can learn with the right guidance! I have a conservatory training, and years of experience teaching people of all ages how to play. Students will learn technique, music reading, scales and arpeggios, and basic music theory in a comfortable and encouraging environment!

My style of teaching is to teach each child one step at a time, through method training. Each child/Adult has their own learning curve and I adjust accordingly. Each lesson is fun and yet a learning time. I love teaching and it feeds every day. I always can see more students.

The cello is a gorgeous instrument that deserves to be played beautifully! We will work on sound production, technique, and we will work to build love and passion for the instrument!!

Three years of working with multiple orchestras and youth summer camps have prepared me to teach students of all ages and experience levels. My lessons involve teaching extensive topics beyond cello fundamentals like aural skills and music theory. Incorporating these aspects of musicianship will reinforce your progression of playing the cello.

Hi! My teaching is inspired by my classical training, while incorporating work experiences in improvisation, jazz, and pop. I hope to help students engage with music and equip them with tools to be uniquely creative and expressive.
