I encourage each student to find his or her personal style to express a unique vision. You don't need any experience to become an artist, just the desire to start noticing new things all around you and capturing moments to share with others!

Piano shouldn't be boring, it shouldn't just be Bach, and it shouldn't be endless, pointless exercises.
Piano should be fun, interesting, and practical. Theory, scales, and exercises should be helpful, practical, and directly tied into pieces a student is learning, and each student should get the opportunity to work on pieces they're interested in, not just keep to standard repertoire only.
I tailor piano lessons to each student, their goals, and their musical tastes. While I use the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum, students are always welcome to bring in extra pieces to work on or ask for help finding something specific. Every student will learn the basics of sight reading, playing by ear, improvising, and harmonizing--then work more on whatever they are interested in.
As a professional pianist, I will teach practical skills that can actually earn my students money when they get advanced enough, such as reading lead sheets, playing with the timing of a piece, and accompanying

My daughter is 12 years old and she started to take lessons with Sandra in fall 2012. She made a great progress and absolutely loves her teacher and classes. She enjoys each class and I donât have to remind her to do her singing homework: she enjoys all the work and looks forward to her next class. My daughter thinks that Sandra is an amazing teacher and that she has a beautiful voice ⦠and I agree :)
I am a musician myself (a former piano teacher with Bachelor degree in Music) and I would highly recommend Sandra."
I taught music for 27 years and had many teachers myself. The method, expertise, and motivation provided in these lessons belongs on the top shelf----stellar. The approach to guitar is refreshing and comprehensive in out look and in scope. Multiple styles and elements are given focus, demonstration and practice in a fun way. I am at ease with the challenges and I look forward to reaching more and more competent levels that allow me to play music with real skill and genuine depth. For the first time in years, I am on the move and excited thanks to this man's expertise and understated caliber of music talent."
I started taking lessons with Matt when I was 16 and when we started up again this year (I'm now 31) we were able to pick right back up where we left off. That should tell you all you need to know about how much he cares about his students.
He's an especially excellent teacher because he's so passionate about music and his instrument. You'll never run out of new things to learn because he's always learning new things himself.
Nobody will teach you to love the guitar like this dude!"

These are the two extremes that one can encounter when owning or renting a violin. There are, of course, many variations of these extremes that will affect the cost and value of these instruments. One thing that all of these different levels of violins have in common is that they come from the workshop or …

Choosing a violin teacher is an important step in your learning experience. Your teacher will not only show you the mechanics of playing the violin, but can also have an impact on how much you enjoy the learning experience. Many students start with an internet search, but don’t investigate further. This can be overwhelming, but can also lead to bookings with a teacher who might not be a good fit for you. With so many profiles online, where to begin? Let's look at how to choose a violin tea …
