I just wanted one lesson as an intro to gymnastics, and Christian is great! Thanks to him I'm more confident with my backflip and with just one more lesson I believe I can get it down. Definitely recommend! I might add gymnastics to one of my hobbies thanks to him.

I studied under a Russian Prima ballerina. I played soccer. I swam. My lifestyle at a young age has reflected in my work as an adult. Nowadays I love yoga, hiking, running, art, and being a big sister! If I have one goal in my professional life it would be to inspire active living in today's youth. I traditionally strength train and consistently utilize HiiT training so as you could imagine I've developed some imbalances in my body. Thanks to Lindsay she was able to recognize this and help out tremendously in the flexibility and core aspects of my training. I'm stronger than I've ever been and my ROM Has increased significantly. I strongly recommend using her expertise and training in this area.

I'm new to pilates so I can easily get confused. Not with Lindsay! She is so specific with the movements, I know exactly what to do next! Not only that, but how she articulates which muscles to work and how to make the most out every single exercise. Guaranteed to burn out your muscles, but then with her stretches, you leave feeling great. How a teacher speaks has always been a deal breaker for me. My name is Imani and I am a professional dancer, having danced with Taurus broadhurst Dance company, Bebe Miller, and Dayton Contemporary Dance company's Crystal Perkins. I have recently received my BFA in Dance from The Ohio State University after studying at Duke Ellington School for the Arts and CityDance Conservatory.

I have also trained at BalletMet, Jones Haywood Dance School, University of California Los Angeles,under the tutelage of Irene Tassadembo and others in Burkina Faso, and under the tutelage of Kaustavi Sarkar. I am trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern Dance (Horton technique), Contemporary and Odissi (Classical Indian). I have completed my Mancha Pravesh in Odissi Dance.

I have taught to people of all ages (3-60) internationally. Some of the places I have taught are : CityDance, Columbus Refugee and Imm

From Strength & Conditioning Yoga to Therapeutic Yoga, I can encompass beginners, athletes, advanced yogis and seniors, to achieve better overall fitness. For the past four years, I have been instructing multiple levels of yoga classes at In-Shape Fitness Clubs, having up to 50 people per class, five times a week.
Student feedback resulted in greater 1. flexibility,2. strength, 3. stamina, and 4. balance. Many students were surprised to learn how yoga improved their overall muscle tone, plus trimmed and tone the body. I studied yoga with Erich Schiffmann from Santa Monica at Santa Barbara Yoga Center, Santa Barbara, CA. and received my Yoga Certification.

Tamara began practicing Chinese QiGong in 2003 after discovering it's similarities to her intuitive practice, Internal Alchemy. She was strongly intrigued by this energy practice with over 5000 years of passed down teachings. Tamara soon trained at Kun Yu Shan Academy of Martial Arts in China in 2006. She then studied the rudiments of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Dragon Rises College, 2009-2010.

I went to Tamara for Yoga to just feel more present and to become more flexible, but I got so much more. A problem with my neck and shoulder I had for so many years that I forgot it was always there , is now gone. It was locked up for years & it's now loose. It gets stiff on occasion, and when it does I now know how to release it. And it works! It took time and practice, but it got there! It's more like a therepeutic, transcendental session of magic wherein I'm learning how to do the magic on my own. So good!

I am a full time Teacher of Movement that specializes in helping people become more flexible, and have many clients who come to me after physical therapy to continue rehab and to increase their strength and balance as they get older. Take advantage of my 50 years training by taking a class. Movements are based on Chinese Internal Martial Arts rather than Western Gym Training Methods. The practices are SAFE and you will only be using your own body weight. My training methods are the opposite of Programs such as Cross Fit. Practices specialize in keeping the Body Healthy as you age and includes more internal stretching to help the organs, endocrine system and bones, working on relaxing the muscles as you condition them and making the tendons stronger. It is also a great complement to any more aggressive training regimen such as Cross Fit.

Steve began yoga practice at the age of 20 under the guidance of Paramahansa Yogananda and began Taoist practice in 1993 with Master Mantak Chia. Since that time he has continued to learn different energy healing practices from various teachers. Steve contacted me before my first lesson to discuss what I expected from the session. I had only scheduled one lesson and wanted to try it out for myself and because I am enrolled in a graduate study program; I needed to try an alternative healing session so I could complete an assignment. I loved that Steve explained the movements and how they affected the internal body, mind, and spirit. He is a wealth of information and I plan on continuing to learn from him.
