I've been teaching music theory for 15 years, and many of my students have gone on to become accomplished musicians. Within the first few lessons, you'll begin to get an understanding of the fundamentals of harmony, and as time goes on you'll be able to analyze compositions and grasp the inner workings of the music you love. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About David

I have 30 years of music experience. I started playing piano when I was 5 years old. I started playing bass guitar at age 10, and I started playing guitar at age 20. I started performing in public at the age of 6. By the time I was in high school, I was gigging most weekends. I also started re

I have been studying music theory under many accomplished teachers for many years ever since I was 15 years old. I am a music major graduate from the University of South Florida and have taken four years of continuous music classes. My goal and mission is for my students to thoroughly understand music theory and fall in love with it.

Max has been a stellar double bass tutor for my son. He caught on right away how to work with him and improve his playing, technique and music theory. You can really tell he has a passion for music (especially the double bass) and teaching. Will continue to have my son study under him :)

Max was very helpful as a teacher. He gave me a lot of good insight into picking the bass for bluegrass music. I've been primarily playing bowed music. I plan to continue my lessons with him.

Jennifer is a wonderful piano teacher. She is patient, experienced and genuinely passionate about music. My daughter was playing the piano since day one and continues to make progress beyond my expectations. I will strongly recommend Jennifer as a piano instructor.

She was my teacher at Dunedin Highland Middle School, or for the short time she was there. I was in the orchestra program and played violin. She was a brand new teacher at the time and had no experience teaching middle school students. She did not teach or rehearse at all and in the middle of my seventh grade, she left for around 4-5 months for some strange reason. We did not do anything orchestra related until she had a semi-permanent sub come it for the rest of the year. Renfroe then decided she wanted to reappear at the end of the year for our last concert. She never really taught well. I never learned any new things from her.

To the extent of what I learned in my experience, Andrew is a great percussion teacher for students looking to join a band or marching band. He obviously had a great amount of knowledge and experience with the instrument itself but also the teaching of it. By the end of the first lesson we had already moved to patterns with 8 strikes on each hand and was presented with an arsenal of other exercises for afterwards to find a rate of improvement when given time. He is a very patient teacher and is sensitive to mistakes and which ones to focus on. I could safely recommend him to any of my friends who are also into percussion, and can speak from experience that any nervousness of getting a new teacher quickly dissolves after the first lesson. Great teacher.
