Whether you want really nail the sound of a Black Sabbath riff, learn to solo over a blues progression, or even learn a piano piece on guitar. I can help give you the tools to form your own musical identity.

Successfully teaching current students with clear, concise lessons.
All of my current students have developed confidence and enthusiasm to learn all materials presented in an easy to comprehend format.
Each student learns at different levels so all lessons are customized to challenge them but also insure they learn and retain all materials presented to them.
Currently have 16 students ranging from beginners to advanced level.
When selecting a teacher, make arrangements to meet in person to review short and long term goals of learning a musical instrument. Bachelor of Arts--Concentration in Vocal Performance from UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music
Teaching Locations:

As a classical singer who has studied voice for twelve years, I teach with a healthy, free-of-tension approach to singing. I believe that given the right training, anyone can be a singer. I also view classical singing as a strong foundation for all genres of singing, musical theater especially. My lessons will focus on releasing tensions in the body and maintaining good vocal health, while also being tailored to students' needs. I would love to work with students on anything from expanding their range, improving tone quality, diction, acting, breath support, repertoire choices, vocal health, and more.
About Maia
