I hold a MA in Piano Performance from Azusa Pacific University. I have been teaching piano for all ages and all levels since 2002. I had formal training in Suzuki pedagogy method from the Suzuki certified trainer. Over the last ten years, I have been integrating Suzuki method with various modern piano pedagogies to teach beginners and received positive feedback from students and parents. In addition to piano teaching, I also teach all levels of accordion and violin (Suzuki Method).

I am patient, friendly, cheerful and good at customizing my lessons to meet individual student's needs. I believe all students have potential to master skills as long as they have strong self-discipline, perseverance and supporti

I LOVE taking piano lessons with Celine! She’s a great teacher and a very kind and sweet person. She is by far the most knowledgeable piano teacher I’ve had. Celine’s teaching style is very flexible—she’s great for a serious player because she’s very thorough and also for a beginner because she’s so kind and patient. I’ve played the piano for many years and Celine has really helped me improve. She’s taught me how to practice effectively at home and helps me notice details in the music I wasn’t taught before. Celine is clearly very passionate about what she does. I always enjoy my lessons and I highly recommend taking lessons with her!

My daughter started her lesson with music school group class, while it is fun and fundamental, it starts to get harder as the year pass.
She need more one to one attention with experience teacher who could help her with the details that the group class cannot provide. We are so grateful to have Ms. Celine. She is so patience. Her teaching supported my daughter skill that lack from group class and my daughter is happy to learn piano which in turn make her do more practice and improve her skill. I am very satisfied.

Celine is a wonderful piano teacher! She is patient, works well with children, and is truly dedicated to developing her students. My 6-year-old son had no musical background and she has since taught him how to sight-read in a short amount of time! She encourages a little bit of music book homework, helps with posture, finger positioning, proper technique, etc. and makes each lessons fun and enjoyable. She is an expert in everything music and is very responsive to any questions I have. My son looks forward to each of his lessons. I highly recommend Celine!

I am a very fun loving person and believe in creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable to be themselves. At the same time I am a stickler for details and do not allow laziness. I believe a balance of fun with excellence has allowed my students to excel far beyond their own expectations. Good results takes HARD WORK! Please do not come to lessons with the expectation to sing like Beyoncé or play piano at Carnegie Hall after 4 lessons. Mastering your voice and instrument takes equal parts of time, hard work, dedication and patience.

My teaching style is individually based.
For vocal clients, I asses their strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan to build up their weak areas while helping them find "their own voice". I focus on breathing, intonation and control which I believe are the foundation of great singing ability. I use a classical Italian based program along with pop, R&B, jazz, and rock. I have vocal coached in many languages including Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.

For piano clients I focus on strength, dexterity and precision in fingering. I also help students learn to feel the music and bring their personality and touch to each piece they are performing.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Tanisha currently teaches at her performing arts academy the White H Arts Academy. There are private instruction rooms and a lobby waiting area for parents and guests. Parents may also sit in the lesson room if desired. Private lesson rooms include a piano, speakers, and a music stand.

The White H Arts Academy also has two state of the art mirrored dance rooms with sound systems and wireless microphones for practicing stage performances or rehearsing for a big show.

Piano instruction levels I teach are basic to intermediary focusing on classical, and general accompaniment abilities.

Hi! I’m Hana. Music is my passion, and I have been playing the violin for over 14 years. I have studied under teachers including Jan Coleman (Coleman Studio) and Professor Ron Patterson (University of Washington). I have been teaching violin in various ways since 2013, and my experience includes teaching private students, giving private lessons as a volunteer with Seattle Music Partners, and coaching various young string ensembles.

I was concertmaster of my high school orchestra and played in the Seattle Youth Symphony. I also won first place for solo violin at my regional division of WMEA Solo and Ensemble. Now, I am continuing my studies of the violin at Scripps College.

I believe that a good technical foundation is essential in order to advance your playing, so as a teacher I will ensure that my students have all of the tools n
ecessary to produce a beautiful sound. I also strongly believe that effective practicing is vital to advancement on the violin, so another one of my priorities is teaching my students how to practice efficiently. Additionally, I recognize that all my students have very different goals, and I always to tailor lessons to suit their individual objectives.

Most of all, as a teacher I want to foster in my students a love of the violin and of music. Music adds so much joy and meaning to my life, and helps me connect with amazing people. Through teaching, I hope to share this amazing opportunity with others.

Chris is a great teacher! As an adult beginner, it is sometimes difficult to find a teacher who will treat you as an adult yet give you great instruction when you are just a beginning piano student. Chris does this with ease. I am now an intermediate level student and he takes the same time and care with his teaching as he did when I was a beginner. I am looking forward to advancing even more during my time as a student with Chris Mauldin. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher.

Not only is she a fabolously talented vocalist and coach, but she is so warm and accommodating to our family and my kids look up to her as a role model. My daughter had very bad stage fright and just a couple years ago and would always refuse to perform for people. With Yasmin’s help she has made huge strides with her ability and confidence.
