Nick is an amazing voice teacher and a highly skilled singer himself. His lessons are very thorough, but also fun! While Nick gives you corrections, he also emphasizes the things that you are also doing well on. You will leave his lessons feeling confident and energized!

I have had the privilege of working alongside Nick, learning from him, and watching him grow as a performer and as a teacher. I have seen him instruct and collaborate with peers and adults, as well as kids ranging from 8 to 18. The way in which he is able to articulate and pinpoint areas where improvement is available, while simultaneously keeping things fun and positive, is a true accomplishment. He cares so deeply about the work, as well as people. If you are looking for someone for your kids or for yourself, Nick comes with a plethora of knowledge and a humble, jovial demeanor. It will be a judgement free zone, so you can come as you are, wherever you are with your singing journey. Be prepared to work hard, connect to your body, and have a great time. I personally still look to him for audition advice, style tips, and reminders of technique. I could not recommend Nick enough.

My background and career have never placed importance on speaking and looking objectively at myself, I wanted to improve that ability. Toya has been very patient and down to earth with me, as raw as I am, in helping me. After a few lessons I already feel confidence growing and enjoy her instruction.

I work with GC at a music school and he's a really great teacher. We work with some of the same students, and I always see a huge increase in their ability after they work with him!

I have been working alongside GC at a music school for a few years now. He is a very knowledgable and versatile teacher and musician. His students stick with him for the long haul. GC is great at gauging where the student is at musically and what it will take to push them to the next level. I highly recommend this guy.
Meritxell N.
GC was a great teacher! He was perfect for what I needed. Specifically, GC has met me where I am in terms of my skills and experience. I am a more advanced student than GC typically gets. Instead of teaching me exercises and songs segments, which I have done with other teachers, he focused on developing my musicality and improvisation concepts! I love working with GC!

Thanks for letting me provide a reference for Alex. I have taken alto sax lessons from him over the years, starting about 4-5 years ago. Alex is a great musician and teacher. Each lesson was consistently structured for: sound quality and listening, technical work and reading, duets, and improvisation. Rather than heavy music theory, he would instead provide routines to reinforce these concepts. He was always patient, and emphasized what I did well, with subtle redirection to correct problems. I definitely improved under his guidance and teaching.

The only reason I stopped seeing him was that my job became very demanding, and I could not devote enough time to practice and justify the time and cost of lessons. But even when I showed up unprepared, he was understanding and flexible to work with me.

If it would have been possible to have Alex come to me, I would have welcomed that.
