Accompaniment by Ferlyn! My History of Accompaniment & Arrangements: Many of my accompaniments, compositions, sound productions and songwriting techniques are used in a several performances and a few video amateur productions. I have been mostly self-taught and trained through private music lessons. Arrangements and accompaniment techniques for guitar, piano, orchestral and symphonies are readily available for learning. My Teaching Method: I assess each students' levels, knowledge and styles of learning, determine the best learning paths to incorporate into the lesson and bring a "natural movement" approach of training and education. With my method, this is to provide a collaborative & supportive environment as well as actively develop a person's life, culture and well-being. I strive to take a step further and deeper within the mind of the person who is learning dance and find one's "True Inner Dancer." My Teaching Credits: Piano Lessons Singing Lessons My Training Credits: Piano Lessons | Joann Maybe Opera Singing Lessons | Nancy Lin Self-Taught | Guitar PLEASE NOTE: For a more accurate look into my experience and resume, please refer to my profile. Also, any advanced, duet, group, weddings, birthdays, or any special occasion will differ than the usual lesson rate.

Note: I very strongly suggest sending a message before booking to make sure I can meet your needs in your lessons! To me, learning to compose is a balance between pushing the boundaries of what you're comfortable writing and ensuring you're still writing music that you're proud of at the end of the day. I'm a big proponent of having a strong theory foundation. However, having a solid background in music theory is like having a well-stocked toolbox: the tools aren't going to build the house by themselves! It's still up to you to take those tools and create something with them! I do have a few books I'm partial to if the student wants to work from a book specifically, but in general I try to cater every lesson to the student's specific goals. Different people want to write different kinds of music, and I am happy to explore whatever genre you're interested in writing!
