Dr. Cliff believes that, although many professors and teachers do an admirable job in the classroom, many students and children do not learn well in traditional institutions. Many students and children don't respond to the assembly line nature of most institutions. He believes that a student's or child's strengths and natural abilities need to be the foundation of learning. Dr. Cliff often warns against a "cookie cutter" approach to educating students, teenagers and children. Among the accent reduction teachers that I had before, Erol is the only one who actually could find the problems in my accent! The program he uses is very useful. The way he explains things or exaggerates the mistakes will help me to correct my accent. Overall, an awesome experience and I would totally recommend him to anyone.

Started early to use Excel for business and created sheets for an executive of a big German Company when I was 19.

Update 02/10/15: Takelessons is a great way to teach and a fantastic and easy way to learn for students. I currently have 3 students per week, with several hours. I really enjoy it, either online via Skype or Facetime or Live at the students place. Hit me up and let's move something together.
I learned a lot from Marcel and liked his vision of how to redo the garden. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we discussed how to improve it. He pulled out his iPad and made several garden sketches that were helpful. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we decided to remove several of them and re-"orchestrate" the remaining ones. (We only bought new plants if they were needed to realize the new garden vision.) He is also a very hard worker, helping me (physically) transplant and add plants as required. For example, we transplanted a 100+ (?) pound Sago palm across the front yard. I would never have done that on my own (too heavy for me) but together we did it! Highly recommended. Bill

Excellent teacher. We took a 20'x2' section of "dirt" in the back, redid the soil, transplanted a rose in that section, added two other new roses and a bunch of ground cover. Looks great! Recommended.

I did not actually take any lessons with him, but his schedule did not reflect what showed as available in Takelessons. He had a very bad attitude and would not actually schedule the lesson after several exchanges.
