About Amanda
I have been a professional performance coach for the last 15 years. I have trained students ages 3-16 to find their true vocal, acting and musical potential. I provide a very personalized lesson plan for each student, with appropriate warm ups, expert repertoire selection from both current and classic Broadway Shows, and handpicked audition cuts. I trained as an educator of theater with Kids On Stage in Los Angeles after receiving my BA in Musical Theater. With the Atlanta School of the Performing Arts, I mentored children ages 3-16 in their performances at Walt Disney World, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean. My students have landed lead roles in musicals like Annie and Shrek. My husband and I run the performance company, K&A Theatricals, which is committed to producing cabarets, musicals, and cutting edge dra
mas. We share the stage with our students and give them the chance to shine with us and learn from us how to be professional performers.

My students have gone on to Broadway and enjoyed careers on TV. One of my students just starred as Matilda in the National Tour.

Hi, My name is Christopher DiBenedetto and I have been a professional musician for over 10 years. My music career all started when I was much younger and developed a passion for singing. Throughout my high school years I participated in Louisiana Regional and Louisiana All-State Choir as well as attended the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts during the summer semester in Vocal Performance. While attending, University Laboratory School in Baton rouge I also completed the International Baccalaureate curriculum in Music Studies, while furthering my vocal Instruction with teacher Skip Harris and teaching myself the piano. I have studied vocal styles in blues, soul, R&B, funk, jazz, and classical music.

Throughout the summer of 2017, I will be joining the Love Swimming team becoming an instructor for small kids aged 6 months-10 years
old. This experience has and will continue to allow me to specialize my music lessons for my younger students. I am excited to continue to learn from this outstanding New Orleans business a few times a week.

When I decided to take vocal lessons, the first thing that was important to me was a teacher I could communicate with frequently if I had any questioo as well as them being flexible. I also wanted a teacher that would be willing to listen to what I wanted to achieve from my lessons, not just have them tell me what they think I need to do and Christopher was all of that and then some! From the first message I sent him when I inquired into when he was taking new students all the way up to the day we had our first lesson, he was always willing to answer my questions, discuss what I wanted out of our lessons and despite how nervous I was, he put my mind at ease and we had a GREAT time at our first lesson together! He truly cares about his students and loves what he does. If you're nervous, he does everything in his power to make you feel better. He certainly did that for me! Trust me when I say that if you choose him as your teacher, you will not regret it!
