Hi there! I am teacher Zhy, your next language teacher! I am very excited to see you in my class. Here's something about myself: I was born and raised in the Philippines and now living in San Diego, California. I love teaching since I was a kid - I would always pick the role as a teacher during our playtime. I started my online teaching career in 2010 while earning my business degree in Marketing Management. I taught students of different ages from 5 years old to professional adults. Even when I was working at the corporate (admin & marketing) I still demonstrated my passion for teaching through conducting training and seminars. Before moving to the US, I was also a volunteer Sunday School teacher at our local church in the Philippines. It was fun and very fulfilling to enjoy what I love while serving God. When I’m not on the job, I love hiking with my family or friends; working my way through every recipe in the family cookbook; being creative with crafts and cross-stitching; and indulging my love for seeing new places with my loved ones.
