I'm a teacher, attorney, musician, and a former Marine. I have a law degree from the University of California Berkeley and a philosophy degree from Whitman College. I have leadership experience in the military, as the CEO of a global manufacturing company, and a federal patent litigator. In the military I discovered my voice, and learned the power of spoken word in inspiring my fellow Marines to greatness. At Berkeley Law I competed on the prestigious National Moot Court Team. As an attorney I litigated cases on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, and learned to persuade brilliant people on complex subjects. As a CEO, I battled through adversity and led diverse teams facing myriad challenges. I now teach students around the world to speak with poise, confidence, and charm. My public speaking students can expect to improve their persuasive speaking abilities week after week. Each student has unique challenges to overcome. Fear is the primary blockade to confident speech. Beyond confidence building exercises, I help my students uncover any verbal or physical ticks that may be distracting their audience. We will dig into the reasons you are 'locked in'. I have personally dealt with extreme shyness. Fear of public speaking holds great people back from achieving greatness every day.
