Over the years, I have worked with children in multiple environments, babysitting, churches, daycares, schools, and online tutoring. Working with children and helping them learn and grow is a passion of mine. Some of the best days for me are when I can work with a student to help them, especially if I can make it fun or they are able to get what they are working on. I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Akron and recently graduated from Crown College with a bachelor's in Christian Ministry. From my educational experience, along with all the coursework in reading and phonics, I have had many field hours teaching in classrooms. From all the different situations where I have gotten to teach and work with students, I have been able to work with students from preschool through middle school. Though I have the most experience with preschool and young elementary students. Recently, I began tutoring online. With that I have been teaching mostly kindergarten readiness, reading, phonics, and English/English Language Arts. Though I can also teach preschool themed classes (weather, dinosaurs, etc), knitting, and Bible. When I am teaching or tutoring, my goal is to help support and encourage while making the learning process fun and engaging. Hope you have a good day.
