Hello, my name is Thatcher! I have spent most of my adult life studying the English language. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Ohio University and am a certified TEFL instructor. While getting my TEFL certification I developed a confident teaching style and acquired skills to plan and deliver student-tailored language lessons. My goal is to teach English in a nurturing virtual classroom environment which encourages my students to feel comfortable and natural using language in their everyday lives. I am very patient and compassionate and will work hard to make my lessons fun and stress-free. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I use many different kinds of teaching materials, exercises, games and activities to help you learn in a way that doesn't feel like studying. I believe that students learn more efficiently when they are enjoying their lessons. Once I have gotten to know your specific language needs, I will create a plan to improve your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills until you feel comfortable using these confidently in your everyday life.
