French with Thalia K.

I graduated from Macalester College in May 2012 and have experience tutoring French to students of all ages and levels for the past 10 years. I was a Theatre Major because I have always been passionate about the arts, performance especially. I always have a creative project in the works! Last year I started my own theatre company with a community of other artists. While I was abroad in Paris, I trained in physical performance - this included mime, acrobatics, trapeze, and classic dance. My mother is French and my father is American, so we lived in France for the first seven years of my life before moving to the United States. I decided to be a French and Francophone Minor at Macalester College in order to further my french fluency, both written and orally. My work in the theatre world helps me bring fun, energy, patience, and creativity to my French lessons. I love to pass on my passion for learning, the arts, and french culture to students who have passions of their own. I adore working with students, and making the learning experience fun and engaging!
