Elementary Math with Taliyah P.

As a former third grade teacher and Music Education major, teaching is obviously very important to me and a great passion of mine. I believe every student can learn, and I approach topics differently based on a student’s learning style. I have a strong work ethic, good teamwork skills, and passion for service to others. I am a very detail-oriented person when it comes to completing tasks—I like things to be done correctly and efficiently. I enjoy putting in the extra effort to make sure my work goes above and beyond because I know that it affects the people around me. Teamwork is so important in a career, and I enjoy how much more effective people can be when we work together. I am very enthusiastic about being able to continue making a difference in people’s lives. I am currently working towards my Music Education degree in order to be a band director.
