About
- Teaches students:
- Ages 5 to 70
- Teaching since:
- August 2012
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University. I have extensive experience in Spanish having lived and been schooled in Mexico as a child. I’ve been teaching one-on-one and classes for 5 years. My background is teaching conversational Spanish for beginners to advanced level students. I have a comprehensive understanding of the language and Mexican culture and would like to use this knowledge and experience to help others. Through proper teaching techniques and an understanding of how individuals learn, I hope to help create connections with students that open avenues for learning new material. By actively listening to students and adjusting my teaching methods accordingly, I hope to advance my students knowledge by motivating them to learn new concepts and ideas. Additionally, I hope to provide opportunities for others to use language to connect to different cultures and communities. I understand the importance of improving my skills and learning new skills to assist students in their own learning.
